Brushes With Cancer is a four- to six-month program developed and managed by Twist Out Cancer that matches visual artists with “Inspirations” (cancer patients/thrivers/survivors/previvors, caregivers) to create art reflective of their cancer journeys. Pairs connect in person and/or virtually, with their relationships supported by meetups, mentors and staff. The program finishes with a celebratory art exhibition at the Arsht for participants, families and the Miami community.
