In desperation, Nemorino invests his hope and meager finances in a love potion. From the uproarious “Wedding Duet” to the poignant “Una furtiva lagrima,” Gaetano Donizetti’s music boasts soulful melodies and comedic charm. Felice Romani’s witty libretto and scenario set the stage for laughter and love.

She’s a challenging, compelling heroine who defies class lines and authority in a story that has captivated audiences for almost 150 years.
