We have reached a time in our nation’s history where discussions to end systemic racism and promote social equality for all are crucial to the positive advancement of all of our communities. The Arsht Center is committed to listen, learn and do more to stop racism and injustice. In our efforts to continue to uplift Black voices, we invite you to join us for our Heritage Committee’s “The Heritage Project: An Artistic Salon Series.”

This free series was created with the spirit of a modern-day, Harlem Renaissance salon and will give the opportunity for Miami’s community members, leaders, educators, administrators, and supporters to discover, listen and engage in essential discussions surrounding art and social justice in the Black community.

In anticipation of Miami's extremely popular Carnival weekend, the 2022-23 Heritage Project season series kicks off the celebration with an in-depth, in-person look at Caribbean music, influence and culture.

Admission to Caribbean Music, Influence and Culture is free. However, first-access passes are required. Get your first-access passes now!

Doors open at 6 p.m. Arrive early to vibe out to good music, happy hour food and drink specials before the conversation begins at 7.

Please note: First-access passes expire 15 minutes prior to the performance. First-access passes must be obtained for every member of your party regardless of age. There is a limit of four passes per household. Guests will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis as seats become available.
