Disney's The Little Mermaid

After multiple regional awards and accolades for two sold-out runs of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Area Stage is going back to the world of Disney to bring The Little Mermaid to the Arsht Center! Set inside a seaside tavern where sailors and pirates gather to share tales of mermaids and adventure, Ariel and Eric’s love story will be brought to life all around the audience in an epic, immersive, under-the-sea spectacle.

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."

$83.50 standard tickets are for general admission
$110 premium tickets include immersive seating; no lap seating allowed; ticket buyer must be 6+. Please arrive promptly for access to the immersive area.
