Eva Yerbabuena: Yerbagüena (oscuro brillante)

March 6

Eva Yerbabuena is considered “a visionary and masterful dancer” (The Guardian) who is “touched by greatness” (The Times) and embodies “the type of once-in-a-generation artist” (The Independent). In her 19th show, she moves between the most absolute rigidity and resounding flexibility, between stillness and movement, light and darkness, between singing and dancing, classicism and avant-garde, craftsmanship and technology to rethink what she already believed to be absolute and fixed.

Patricia Guerrero y Alfonso Losa: Alter Ego

March 9

Virtuoso performers Patricia Guerrero and Alfonso Losa throw away the rule book to explore personal connection. Guerrero draws geometric figures with her dance. She dismantles her movements and re-creates them. Losa develops new schemes without breaking the mold, builds without deconstructing and stays true to his roots. Alter Ego is flamenco stripped bare. It is pure passion, visceral movement and unfettered exploration.
