Abstract Citizen is a group from guitarist and composer Aaron Lebos. The band performs modern jazz, and most of its music was written in the first months of the pandemic.

Lebos is a Miami native who has been an active member of the music scene since he was 16 years old. He has played with some of the biggest names in South Florida such as Nicole Henry, Spam All-Stars, Nu Deco Ensemble and his previous original group Aaron Lebos Reality. He incorporates his diverse and eclectic style into the music of Abstract Citizen.

Joining Lebos is a remarkable band featuring some of the most in-demand and creative musicians in South Florida. The group consists of Vania Junco on vocals, Marty Quinn on bass, Lucas Apostoleris on drums, Martin Bejerano on piano and Aaron Lebos on guitar, all of whom are graduates of the highly acclaimed University of Miami jazz program. In the past few years, they have regularly played at Miami hot spots such as Lagniappe House and The Fish House.

Live on the Plaza is a series of outdoor concerts on our Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts.
